Well it is Saturday and we are pretty settled in at the beautiful B&B we are staying at. The weather is hot today and much less of a breeze. We went to the penguin colony yesterday and literally swam with the penguins. It was very neat. Driving around is a bit crazy as the streets are narrow - but Ken is getting the hang of it and is good at shifting with his left hand. The beach is awesome - surfing and sailing but the water is just as cold as Lake Superior. Bryce wants to surf but right in front of our place a man was "taken" in December by a great white so I think we will make him wait for a different beach.
wow,looks amazing, dont let Bryce surf, he may be skinny but Im sure he is tasty and we cont want the sharks to get him, did the penquins come right up to you, so cool, love yall beth

ReplyDeleteok so I googled the shark attack and that is just very terrifying. The pictures shows a shark not far from the beach. Be careful. love you...ok so this is your paranoid sister and I guess I have an inherent right to be a worrier. It makes me think of all the times floating with dad in the ocean in florida and I was always worried looking under my feet for a big fish. Love ya and happy bday
