Well after 2 very long plane rides we made it to Cape Town last night. We are staying in a suburb area called Fish Hoek in a neat apartment that has an amazing view of the bay (Atlantic) All is well - get the rental car tomorrow and are going to go to the penguin colony and nature reserve.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you made it safely to Cape Town. The weather here has continued to balmy for all those who could not afford a southern vacation this year. I am working this week and will be taking a week off in April to visit Carly in Halifax.

Hi Les, Ken, Karson, Bryce and Calum: I just get so darn excited hearing every little bit of your trip. A Penguin Colony ..dont fall in. Wow - I am fully expecting a complete picture show and stories when Aslam and I are home in the summer. Are you pinching yourself yet ... knowing you are in Africa - Ken must have a smile from ear to ear. Dont bring him to any schools as you may just decide to stay for a few years.
